A message from our Founder…
Welcome to Tactical Ability Group. It’s time I told my story. I want you to have the chance to benefit from my extensive lived and professional experiences.
I have faced many personal experiences of trauma in my life, as early as six years of age, when I lost my Father to tragic circumstances. I joined the NSW Police Force in 2008 and after many years of uniformed general duties, policing the streets of Western Sydney, I successfully achieved the rank of Detective Senior Constable in 2015. In 2014 my physical and mental health, professional and personal life, quickly deteriorated, after horrific exposures to thousands of images, videos, case files and victims of Child Abuse Material and child / adult Sexual Assault, as part of my duties. I left the NSW Police Force in 2018.
I established Tactical Ability Group in 2024, to advocate for people with a disability, and those who have been impacted by trauma and suicide.
Unfortunately at this time, Tactical Ability is not an emergency or crisis response service. If you are experiencing crisis, please seek immediate support through your family, friends and / or relevant medical crisis response and professional services (we have listed relevant crisis support contacts in our Resources Section, for you to find and use with ease).
It takes courage and bravery to put your hand up and ask for help. Trust me, I’ve been in that position and know how hard it is. Tactical Ability Group and many others, want you to be the best version of yourselves and live the best lives you can .
We are not a registered charity, but with your support and our success, that may change in the near future.
